The One Show host Alex Jones was taken aback by singer Becky Hill’s shoe choice as she expressed her concerns ahead of her BRIT Awards performance.
Becky, who’s due to perform at the popular awards show, told presenters Jermaine Jenas and Alex that she hopes she won’t “injure” herself, despite it being the “infamous” thing to do during a show.
“I’m going to try not to injure myself, [The BRITs] are kind of infamous for injury,” she expressed.”Madonna got pulled off her stairs, Anne-Marie buckled her ankle, so I’m hoping it’s not my turn this year.”

Meanwhile Alex couldn’t take her eye off of Becky’s heels, pointing out that they were “enormous.”
“Are you going to wear these shoes?” Alex asked. “Because I worry for you.”
“The heels are enormous!” she quipped.
“I think we’ve toned it down slightly,” Becky laughed and Alex offered some alternatives for her to consider.
“Fine, maybe a loafer, maybe a trainer!” she shouted.
“Or a small heel,” Becky suggested.
Elsewhere in the show, the 28-year-old teased that they’re be a “very special entrance” lined up as she takes to the stage as the last act of the night.
Keeping her cards close to her chest about the performance, Becky revealed that should she pick up an award, she’d have to thank her fans.
“I should probably try and work out what I’m gonna say otherwise I’ll end up saying all sorts. Last year I messed up my words and said heart warmed!” she joked.
Becky added: “But if it happens this year I’ve got to thank everyone that has voted for me.”
She went on to reveal that she actually dented her BRIT Award for Best Dance Act from last year after bumping into an act she was a huge fan of.
“I ended up breaking it before I left the O2 last year when I bumped into another artist called Self Esteem,” she confessed. “I’d had a few drinks and I dashed it on the floor to put my arms around her.”
“The badge on the bottom fell off and when I finally found it I saw that they’d just put my badge on top of an old one that read: ‘FredAgain – Producer of the Year'”
“They’re saving the pennies!” Jermaine laughed.
