Amanda Holden ‘up for naked dressing’ despite Ofcom fury over BGT outfits

Amanda Holden’s ready to strip off and embrace the “naked fashion trend,” despite ruffling feathers with her daring Britain’s Got Talent ensembles that have sparked hundreds of Ofcom complaints.

Chatting with Women’s Health Magazine about her sizzling new Lipsy London collection, Amanda spilled the beans on how her daughters Lexi and Hollie love raiding her wardrobe. She quipped: “Oh, well obviously! I think it’s all a bit of fun, isn’t it? And I’m all for that.”

Celebs like Alex Scott already flaunting the risque trend. And it’s clear that wearing next to nothing is all the rage.

Sitting on the BGT panel for over ten years, Amanda’s become infamous for her fearless fashion statements, occasionally landing her in hot water. Take the Julien Macdonald-designed see-through number she rocked in June 2017 it caused a whopping 633 Ofcom complaints, making it the year’s most controversial TV moment.

Fast forward to 2020, and Amanda was at it again, causing a stir in a navy gown on BGT that had viewers convinced they could spot her nipples. This lead to another 235 Ofcom complaints

Not one to shy away from flaunting her looks, Amanda regularly teases her 2 million Instagram followers with cheeky work outfit snaps. In a particularly bold move this March, she hoisted up her leg to show off some LK Bennett boots, giving followers a glimpse of her thigh.

In addition to her role on Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda also stars in her own BBC renovation show, Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, which aired its second series this year alongside her pal Alan Carr. She is also a brand ambassador for the collagen supplement brand Revive Collagen.

The booked and busy bombshell also co-hosts Heart Radio with Jamie Theakston from 6:30am until 10am. Away from her work commitments, Amanda resides in Richmond with her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters.

Now that the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent are over for the year, fans are eagerly awaiting the live shows where they will get a glimpse of Amanda’s new wardrobe. Judging from her previous ensembles, viewers are in for a treat.
