Another BBC news star has quit the broadcaster.
Emmanuelle Lhoni, 29, became the youngest black female weather presenter at the organisation after she joined North West Tonight. The stunning star has delivered news weather reports on BBC Breakfast and the BBC World Service during her five years at the BBC.
She took to social media to announce her exit, where she insisted her BBC role had been a “childhood dream come true”. Emmanuelle posted a snap of her at the BBC’s MediaCityUK studios in Greater Manchester.

In a statement to her fans and colleagues, she wrote: “After 5 AMAZING years, it’s time to say goodbye to BBC North West Tonight. It’s an understatement to say working on this programme was a childhood dream come true! (I’m from Greater Manchester so you know we always watched North West Tonight!)
“I still can’t believe I got to work with and learn from journalists and presenters I looked up to and admired for years. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point and during these 5 years.
“And a BIG thank you to our viewers. I have enjoyed covering this region for you and I am so humbled you welcomed me into your homes!”. She concluded: “I will of course let you know about what’s next soon. Here’s to the future”.
Fans and colleagues rushed to congratulate the star on her news. One colleague wrote: “All the very best in your new chapter, lovely. It was a joy to work with you right at the very beginning and see you blossom! Wherever you head next, they’re lucky to have you!”.
Another commented: “Oh, Emmanuelle, we will miss you so much. Good luck for everything in the future.” One viewer penned: “I’m really sad you’re leaving. I’ve loved watching you presenting the weather. You’ve got such a lovely personality. Good luck and looking forward to seeing where you go next”.
She’s the latest BBC star to exit the broadcaster. Back in Jule, Sean Rafferty quit his BBC Radio 3 show, and the BBC’s Global Health Correspondent quit at the start of the summer. BBC newscaster Aaron Heslehurst has also departed the channel after more than 22 years.
