Below Deck’s Captain Lee has given a health update after fans were left concerned.
The Bravo boating legend, 74, spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he promoted his new tour. The TV star had been a fan favourite on the programme since 2013 but was let go during season 10.
However, the star found out last year that he had been “fired”, but at the time fans were worried he had left due to health issues. He set the record straight and said: “I don’t know why I left… Oh, I just wasn’t invited back.

“They said I wasn’t invited back but I call it being fired. So I told them that I’d never been fired for doing a good job.
“Because I can remember it was the only second time I’ve ever been fired from anything. So now I don’t know, would I go back? I might go back for a season or two.”
Talking about his health, he added: “My back is just fine. I still have some discomfort. But that wasn’t stopping me from going back to work on the show.
“It’s nothing like that, I can still get up and walk. I’m not running any marathons any time soon, but damn I was never going to run any goddamn marathons anyhow.”
The Below Deck favourite is currently preparing to tour around the UK this October. The TV star “can’t wait” to get chatting with live audiences across the nation.
Talking about his tour, Lee said: “I’m really excited about that and I can’t wait to get stuck in with the tour. It’s just me and a microphone and two fingers of vodka and some ice and we’ll go through some crazy stories, questions and answers and we will play some games. We have a lot of audience participation, that’s what makes it fun.”
