Britney Spears claims her mother Lynne Spears was involved in her recent injury as she showed fans her swollen twisted ankle.
On Wednesday evening (May 1), Britney, 42, allegedly got into a fight with her boyfriend Paul Soliz at the Chateau Marmont in the heart of Los Angeles, California, according to TMZ. Officers arrived at the scene around 10.30pm but swiftly left due to no signs of trouble.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department has confirmed that emergency services were dispatched to Britney’s hotel at 12.42am. They responded to reports that a woman had been injured and confirmed that an ambulance arrived at the scene, but they did not take anyone to hospital.

On Thursday morning (May 2), the Daily Mail reported that the Toxic hitmaker was escorted out of the hotel. She was snapped being escorted away from the hotel without any shoes on her feet and appearing dishevelled.
Britney used a cushion to maintain her modesty as a security guard guided her to an ambulance. Now, the pop princess has claimed that her mother was involved in the incident in a lengthy Instagram post.
Giving fans a closer look at her injured foot, she revealed she sustained the injury by doing a “leap” in her hotel room. She captioned the post: “I know my mom was involved!!!
“I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out!!! I was set up just like she did way back when!!! “I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! I honestly don’t care I will say it [thumbs up emoji, shrugging emoji] !!!
The mum-of-two went on to publicly thank her “wonderful” lawyer Matthew Rosengart for “getting her through” her chaotic night at the hotel in West Hollywood. She went on: “Psss this man is wonderful !!!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”
Matthew – who helped free Britney from her 13-year conservatorship back in 2022 – reacted to her kind words in a statement to Daily Mail. He replied: “I was surprised and very flattered by the post, and the feelings are mutual.”
It comes after the songstress blasted reports that she had suffered a breakdown at the Sunset Strip hotspot as “fake news” and accused the responding medics for “illegally harassing” her.
She wrote: “I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot. It’s so bad. F**king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau, and I fell and embarrassed myself, and that’s it.
“Paramedics came to my door illegally [and] of course caused this huge scene, which was so unnecessary. And all I needed was ice. But yeah, it is actually pretty bad. But s**t happens.”
Daily Star has contacted Lynne and Britney Spears’ representatives for a comment.
