Call the Midwife beauty Helen George looks unrecognisable in plunging white corset

Call the Midwife beauty Helen George forced fans to do a double take as she poured her toned physique into a plunging white corset.

The Brummy beauty, 39, looked nothing short of sensational as she joined King Charles at the Sovereign’s Creative Industries Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (May 15). It’s fair to say she looked wildly different to her character on the BBC period drama.

Fans are used to seeing the mum-of-two as her bubbly character Trixie Franklin who is known for her peroxide blonde hair and statement blue nurse’s uniform. But the TV star opted for a more glamorous look for the regal affair, and she ditched her golden locks for chocolate tresses.

She wowed fans in a bridal white ensemble, which featured a strapless corset-style bodice with floral encrusted button and cinched in her tiny waist. The actor paired the ensemble with a figure-hugging midi skirt that featured a thigh-high slit.

It’s fair to say her golden tan practically glowed against her crisp white ensemble as she worked her best angles for the cameras. The actor styled her ensemble with a big bow fascinator headband which featured dramatic netting and elevated her look with a pair of clear high heels.

Her brunette locks were pulled up into a high ponytail and styled into loose beachy waves. She accessorised her ensemble with a designer silver watch on her wrist as she bashfully looked down at her shoes.

Helen ramped up the glamour with a full face of makeup which celebrated her youthful glow with a pinch of blush on the apples of her cheeks. She added a touch of bronzer to the high points of her face and added a swipe of nude pink eyeshadow onto her lid.

The actor added a thin band of winged eyeliner and lashings of black of mascara on her fluttery lashes. The TV favourite finished the look with a swipe of nude pink lipstick as she posed up a storm in front of the palace.

She captioned the post: “Palace garden party fun” and it didn’t take long before her loyal legion of fans flooded to the comments to shower her with compliments online. One user penned: “Oh my goodness you are GORGEOUS! Hope you had the most wonderful time – bet the sun made it worth every minute.”

Another agreed: “The outfit, the hair, the hat – it’s all stunning!” as a third chimed in with: “You look amazing!! Sounds like an absolutely fabulous day!!” It comes after the TV star confirmed her return to Call the Midwife last month.
