Coronation Street’s Mason Radcliffe might have got his nasty streak from someone very familiar to the residents of the ITV cobbles.
The teen has been bullying Liam Connor relentlessly along with Sean’s son Dylan Wilson, who he forced to take the blame in explosive episodes of the soap this week. But up until now, fans haven’t learned anything about his family.
Daily Star asked Google’s artificial intelligence platform Gemini who it thinks could be responsible for bringing the bully into the world – and the results were shocking. They also reveal a potential connection between Mason and the now missing Lauren Bolton, who disappeared after being spotted covered in bruises.

Lauren has been hiding a mystery boyfriend and posting videos to racy platform O-Vidz, with her pal Bobby growing increasingly worried about her. She also has a traumatic past, having grown up with far right terrorist Griff’s gang with her father.
Now AI has suggested that someone from that same terrorist cell – perhaps even Griff himself – could also be responsible for Mason. When asked about potential father figures for the teen, Gemini suggested: “While it’s speculation, here are a few characters who could potentially be Mason’s dad…
“Someone from Griff’s group; Mason seems quite taken with Griff’s extremist ideology. His dad could be someone within that group, potentially even a character we haven’t seen much of.” It went on to suggest his dad could also be “a past acquaintance of Spider”, who was tasked with investigating the terrorism going on in the street.
Gemini added: “Spider is connected to an undercover world, and Mason’s dad could be someone from his shady past.” But that’s not all, as the AI tool also suggested Mason’s dad might be a complete unknown on the street – or have a connection to a long-time resident.
“Mason’s dad could be someone with a past connection to one of the existing characters, someone who had a brief encounter that’s yet to be explored,” it said.

Fans of the show have been watching the events unfold with eagle eyes – and some think a shock twist could be in store for Gary Windass as Mason could be revealed as his “secret son” after Gary attacked him in the precinct. One fan suggested on social media: “I think Gary will be related to Mason.”
Another fan echoed: “I just think Gary and Mason are gonna be related in Corrie… and if Gary murders him he’s gonna be devastated when he finds out the truth even despite what Mason did.” Plenty of fans are calling for Gary to “give Mason what he deserves” after murdering Rick Neelan – but a DNA twist could be devastating for him.
