Dancing on Ice fans fumed as they claimed Ryan Thomas was severely undermarked.
The former Coronation Street actor, 39, tackled a tango-themed routine with professional partner Amani Fancy on Sunday (February 4). The performance was packed with a number of impressive moves, with Ryan doing plenty of solo skating across the ice.
Following the routine, Ryan headed over to the four judges to receive their comments. The ex-soap star was awarded 29 out of 40 for his performance, his highest score of the series so far.

But this didn’t please fans. They immediately headed to X, formerly Twitter, and claimed the star deserved a higher score.
One fumed: “#DancingonIcE wtf 7’s for a celebrity who skates independently and his partner can trust to be able to support her completely. Ryan Thomas was robbed!!!!!!!!!”
Another agreed: “ayoooo Ryan’s performance was INCREDIBLE!!! and definitely deserved higher marks.” A third chipped in: “HOW can they score Ryan lower than Amber?! Skated the whole time on his own, very well too. Amber didn’t leave go of her partners hand once. Judging is shite this year.”
A fourth echoed: “ONLY A 7 FOR WHAT RYAN JUST DID? WHAT.” Somone else said: “The judges saying Ryan and amani should do more when other skaters are hanging onto their partners doing f**k all.”
Another declared: “They underscore Ryan every week.” The week got off to a rocky start for Ryan and Amani after the professional skater came down with an illness during rehearsal.
The 26-year-old was ruled well enough to perform, however, disaster struck just hours before the live show. The dad-of-three was wracked with guilt after dropping Amani on the ice during their rehearsal.
The painful moment was captured as Ryan could be heard apologising to his partner. Thankfully, Amani wasn’t injured and the duo avoided any errors in their performance.
