David Beckham took “revenge” after an alleged snub from Harry and Meghan, an author has claimed.
Writer Tom Bower has penned books about both the royals and the Beckhams. And he has reportedly claimed that the Prince snubbed Becks at the Invictus Games and that the footy star then took action.
According to The Independent, the author told the tale in his book The House Of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power, which gave fans a peek into David and wife Victoria ’s lives.

The Beckhams were thought to be friendly with the royal couple. But Bower wrote that David was miffed when he “found himself alone” at the Invictus Games sports event in 2018.
“Arriving on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry he was perplexed why officials were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry,” he apparently wrote in the book. The writer then claimed that it turned out that they were kept apart at the event as photographs of the two together were “forbidden”, calling it a “royal snub”.
“The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan,” he claimed. “She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria.”
Bower alleged that the footballer later jetted to Boston to join Harry’s big brother Prince William – who Harry is thought to have a tense relationship with – at an Earthshot prize ceremony on a day when Harry and Meghan had another event going on in the US.
He said that the Boston do that David attended “overshadowed” the Sussexes event, claiming: “Beckham had got his revenge for the Sydney snub.”
Daily Star has contacted representatives for David Beckham and the Sussexes for comment.
