Andi Peters fumed as a Good Morning Britain camera man exposed him on air.
The presenter, 53, shared the latest competition details with viewers live from Madam Tussauds. He headed to the was museum full of famous faces to promote The Oscars, airing on ITV1 and ITVX.
The TV star insisted anyone visiting London should head to the popular tourist attraction before revealing more about the prize up for grabs. He gravitated towards Leonardo DiCaprio’s wax figure, pointing out that his most recent film Killers of the Flower Moon has been nominated for a number of Academy Awards.

After tempting fans with a £250,000 cash prize, Andi couldn’t help but point out that he was taller than the famous wax figures. “Taller than him,” he said as he stood next to Leonardo DiCaprio.

He glided over to Brad Pitt, claiming: “I’d say taller than him. Some would say same height but I’m going to with taller than Brad Pitt. My day is complete.”
Back in the studio, Friday’s (March 8) presenters Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins had to respectfully disagree. “I think you’ll find you’re shorter,” said Charlotte.
Andi was busy telling fans that a quarter of a million pounds could be theirs when he caught wind of what his co-star had said. “What? Sorry Charlotte?” a confused Andi hit back.

The 48-year-old responded: “Yeah you’re definitely shorter, sorry.” Andi fumed: “How could you stay that?” as he stood on his tiptoes to make himself look taller.
“Well now you’re on tiptoes. We can all see that even though we can’t see your feet,” Charlotte said. The man behind the camera then moved it down so viewers could see Andi stood on his tiptoes.
“You are finished,” Andi fumed at the camera man before leaving the frame. Andi returned later in the show and continued his segment at Madam Tussauds.
But he found himself in a muddle when Adil asked which celebrity wax figure he was stood next to. After struggling to say her name correctly, Adil realised he meant Priyanka Chopra.
“Honestly, Andi. If you’re going to stand next to somebody at least work out what their name is. That’s Priyanka Chopra, the Indian Bollywood actress who is now a massive star in America,” Adil swiped.
Andi tried to save himself, explaining that she’s married to one of the Jonas Brothers. He then asked Adil which one, but the presenter could only respond: “That one from the Jonas Brothers”. Charlotte then swiftly moved the conversation on after her co-star was “caught out”.
