GMB’s Susanna Reid screams as she’s left horrified by Ed Balls’ vile act live on air

Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid was left gobsmacked by her co-stars grim act.

The presenter, partnered with co-host Ed Balls, was live on the breakfast show on Wednesday (June 19) discussing the latest election updates and Jack Fowler’s recent unfortunate event involving an in-flight allergic reaction.

As they carried on with their discussions on significant matters, a persistent fly buzzing around distracted Susanna. The little intruder had been making its presence felt throughout the morning broadcast before it finally landed on the desk.

Ed’s swift action had viewers praising him on social media. One admirer tweeted: “Got to say, I think GMB have nailed the co-anchor issue in @edballs.

“Took a while to grow on me, but a perfect replacement for Piers (who I liked also). Well done @GMB,” Another viewer playfully commented: “VAR to see if he really ed got that fly in seconds #GMB.”, reports the Mirror.

Someone else chimed in with: “Bets on how quick some1 screeches for @edballs to be cancelled for swatting that fly! “.

More praises followed, with one saying: “I do love Susanna and Ed #GMB,” and another mentioning Ed’s witty comment: “When Ed said ‘can I just say, it’s a fly not a cow’ cover your back #gmb #goodmorningbritain,” referring to a story about a stray calf.

Susanna has been a lead anchor on Good Morning Britain for numerous years. She reflected on her journey and the value of her role, stating: “I’m a stick of rock with Good Morning Britain running through me.”

“I’ll be at GMB until they decide they don’t want me anymore. I love it. Honestly, there is no better job in broadcasting. Every day, you turn up at the same time and finish at the same time. But what happens between 6am and 9am is always different. It’s so dynamic. You feel like you’ve had a workout every morning. You can do anything once you’ve presented Good Morning Britain.”
