Gogglebox has signed up a well-loved Spice Girl, as well as her famous daughter, for the upcoming celebrity series of the show.
The Channel 4 hit show, which first aired more than a decade ago, is known for drawing in the famous faces. Throughout the years, the likes of One Direction, Little Mix and Chris Eubank have graced the celebrity version of the show, all in aid of raising money for Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Now, bosses at the show have now been able to bag a huge name as a former Spice Girl has been confirmed to be starring in the upcoming celebrity series of the show. She will also be appearing on the programme with her daughter as the pair gear up to watch TV and give their honest reactions.

It was revealed by the Mirror that Spice Girl Mel B will be taking part in the new series of the show. She is set to be on the sofa chatting about the biggest TV shows of the week together with her much-loved daughter Phoenix Chi.
This is set to be a huge opportunity for the stars, who have never partnered up for a TV show before. Mel B is no stranger to the public, having won a slew of awards for her music career in the girl group, as well as carving out a presenting and judging career for herself on the likes of Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.
Phoenix also has been able to score some big projects herself, as she appeared on ITV’s The Games two years ago. Speaking about landing the pair, an insider close to the show said that they were thrilled to bag the duo.
“It’s so exciting to have Scary Spice and Phoenix on the sofa together, they’re going to be fantastic,” the source said. The pair are set to hit our screens once again, alongside fan favourites Fearne Cotton, Clare Balding and Rylan Clark early next month.
Despite being born and raised in Leeds, Mel’s life could not be further from her daughter’s. Having been born in the US and grew up there, Phoenix is able to hold her own, which Mel B describes her as being “very wise”.
This is not the only reason why Mel B has been in the news recently, as she teased a full reunion of the Spice Girls in time for their 30th anniversary. The girls did all get back together recently as they celebrated former bandmate Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday, but plans for a musical reunion have yet to materialise.
It comes after Mel B spilled the beans on her troubled relationship and marriage in her autobiography. She added that she wanted the book to end on a positive note, after coming through to the other side of her personal struggles.
Speaking on her growth as a person, Mel B said she was hopeful that she can fully get back to normal life. “I am getting better, the therapy is working,” she explained.
“I am working on it. Someday soon I do believe things will improve. The Spice Girls will all be out there, all five of us together again – yes, I’m saying it, it will happen.”
