Celebrity Big Brother viewers are in for a treat ahead of the next instalment of the ITV reality TV show as Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu finally reveals why she and on-off ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti broke up.
A teaser clip of the episode will see Marisha and Ekin-Su in the bedroom talking about relationships. Ekin-Su says: “They always say to me that the man should be more into the woman. Is that true? ” To which Marisha says: “I think so. Always.”
Ekin-Su then confesses: “That’s the mistake I made,” before Marisha asks: “You were more into him? ” Ekin-Su, 29, who announced her split with Italian reality TV star Davide in January, confessed that she felt as though she was more interested in Davide than he was into her.

The Turkish actress then said that she was left ‘hurt’ by Davide’s actions before making the decision to end their relationship. Ekin’s Celebrity Big Brother housemate Marisha asks the former Love Island star: “What made you quit your relationship? “. To which Ekin-Su confessed: “Let’s just say he hurt me.”, reports the Mirror.
It comes after Davide appears to be taking the ultimate revenge on his ex, Ekin-Su. The reality stars, both 29, called time on their relationship in January after winning Love Island in 2022. Since their break-up, Ekin-Su has jumped straight into the Celebrity Big Brother house on ITV. Meanwhile, Davide is chilling in Dubai and has posted a hot video of himself coming out of the sea in tight trunks.
Fans think the clip looks just like something from MTV’s Celebrity Ex on the Beach. This show is where famous single people have fun in the sun. The new season starts on March 19, and everyone thinks Davide will be on it. A fan joked on his video: “Whose ex is next? ” Davide didn’t say no to the idea; he just answered with “Dead” and a monkey emoji that can’t see.
Ekin-Su seemed to have a go at Davide when she walked into the Celebrity Big Brother house. When asked about her perfect housemate, she said: “loyal”. But she did say nice things about her ex, telling Fern Britton: “I met love on the show which was great, great memories with that person and I wish them well, I’ve got no bad vibes for him, I really don’t. I will treasure all the great times I had and I just hope he’s fine and he’s well.”
Just weeks after leaving Love Island, Ekin-Su and Davide moved in together. However, rumours swirled that Davide had been unfaithful, something he strongly denied. Ekin-Su explained their break up was due to the pressure of being a couple “everyone loves”.
In a chat with Spin Genie, she said: “But that’s just pleasing for the fans and you’re not focusing on pleasing each other. You’ve accidentally put social media on the pedestal and not each other. That’s what I’ve realised I need to do in future relationships.”
The Turkish actress previously told the Mirror that she and Davide ignored any negativity and focused on each other. Just weeks before their split, she said: “We just ignore and we just live our lives privately and we focus on each other, like a normal couple and we’re really happy. We just ignore the hate, ignore the pressure and live a normal life. That’s what makes us happy.”
However, following their split on January 30, Davide responded to his ex, saying: “Ekin and I, just after the ski holidays, decided to go different ways. It was a joint decision, but I was waiting to make it public to respect her time in the show.”
“I don’t know why the agreed statement changed last minute. I agree, it was a beautiful story even with its ups and downs like all couples. I loved every moment, from the first time I knew her in the Villa until life outside. But sometimes in life people need to grow apart.”
