ITV GMB star announces immediate break from show as she shows ‘true colours’

ITV’s Good Morning Britain darling Laura Tobin drops a holiday bombshell live on-air as she cheekily declares she “doesn’t care” about the dreary weather reports.

This Tuesday, the programme’s regular hosts, Kate Garraway and Sean Fletcher, passed over the baton to Laura for the latest weather forecast.

Kate, feeling wistful over our elusive British summer, mused: “I was trying to wear everything summery quickly before it has to go back in the suitcase under the bed.”

But Laura, clearly buzzing for her own sunny escape, quipped back: “You know what Kate? I actually don’t care because I’m going on holiday tomorrow.”

Kate seemed to be taken aback by Laura’s cheeky response as Sean teased the audience got a glimpse of Laura’s true colours, reports the Mirror.

Kate playfully retorted: “Ah, right, brilliant. The veil, the mask dropped then didn’t it?!”

Amidst gales of laughter, Laura couldn’t help but taunt viewers with promises of her upcoming sun-drenched getaway while Brits brace for a washout.

Grilling her co-star, Kate inquired if there’s an exotic destination on the cards, to which Laura cryptically answered: “I’m going to a warm place. For the next 10 days, it’s going to rain here, sorry about that. Isn’t it crazy, it’s almost like I knew!”

It was all in good humour though, as the team giggled throughout the segment.

Who’ll fill Laura’s shoes during her break remains a mystery as viewers will discover her replacement on Wednesday’s show.

Meanwhile, Sean Fletcher stepped up to cover for Richard Madeley, who apparently pulled an unexpected disappearing act Tuesday morning.

At the start of the show, Kate Garraway announced to viewers that regular host Richard was out sick, saying he was “poorly”.

In his place, Sean stepped in to co-present with Kate, a move that thrilled fans who have been clamouring for him to be made a permanent presenter.

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays ion ITV from 6am.
