Jennifer Aniston was caught out in an awkward reunion video with her Friends co-star David Schwimmer – in which she ‘forgot’ who he was.
The video, filmed ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl, had fans cringing as David – who played the Ross Gellar to Jen’s Rachel Green in the hit sitcom – went in for a hug, only for Jen to awkwardly push him away and ask: “Um, have we met?”
She then asks David to offer her a hint, as he responded: “Worked together for 10 years.” She then replies: “10 years! You were great!” as David says: “You still don’t know, do you?”

Jen tells him: “I don’t,” before walking away, muttering: “Like I’d forget 10 years of my life.” A forlorn David is spotted confessing: “I hate this town,” before the ad cuts off. Thankfully though, it was all a skit for an Uber Eats commercial before the big game.
Jennifer is handling a big green Uber Eats sack full of shopping to mock clips of people ‘forgetting’ to add something to their order. The advert also includes Usher forgetting he’s set to play the half-time show, while the Beckhams also forget who the Spice Girls are.
David can be heard asking Victoria: “Remember when you used to be a Pepper Lady?” Victoria responded: “Wasn’t it the Cinnamon Sisters? Or Paprika Girls?”
But the advert was made even more awkward by the romance rumours that have dogged Jen and David for decades. In 2021, rumours abounded that the pair were finally “together” after being friends for 20 years.
A source claimed to Closer: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.
“They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing.” The insider said the pair were spotted sipping wine at a vineyard in Santa Barbara.

But the co-stars denied the rumours just a month later, as Jen told Marie Claire Australia: “Honestly. I was getting a couple of texts from people saying, ‘I thought you were on a break, LOL. And I kept saying, ‘What are you talking about?’
“And then I went online to see what was happening and I was like, ‘That is the funniest rumour that I never heard that got shot down in the quickest amount of time’.”
