Katie Price flogging tour tickets hours before show after struggling to sell out venue

Katie Price was left struggling to sell tickets for her podcast tour just hours before her show was due to start on Tuesday (May 21).

The 45-year-old has been travelling across the UK with a live performance of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, which she co-hosts alongside her sister Sophie, 34. However, with less than 12 hours until she was set to take the stage at The Glee Club in Birmingham, Katie revealed on her Instagram Story that there were still seats up for grabs.

The mother of five excitedly posted online: “So excited my podcast live show starts tonight. Birmingham see you later tonight [tickets link].”

The Glee Club in Birmingham can accommodate 400 guests and is one of four comedy clubs, including those in Cardiff, Oxford and Nottingham, that have hosted top comedians like Jack Dee, Michael McIntyre and Rob Brydon. VIP meet and greet tickets, priced at £80, have sold out, but general admission tickets are still available for £23.50.

On Wednesday (May 22), Katie will perform at the Glee Club in Cardiff, which has sold out of general admission tickets but still has VIP meet and greet tickets available for fans. Katie has been candid about her financial difficulties and announced on Monday that she is hosting a “yard sale” as she begins to clear out her Mucky Mansion amid her bankruptcy issues.

Earlier this month, lawyers reportedly informed her that she would need to vacate the property in Dial Post, West Sussex, by May 29, after two eviction notices were posted outside her home. On Monday, Katie took to Instagram to share a video of a massive pile of items in her living room that she planned to sell, including a dismantled sofa and a mirror.

The ex-glamour model then turned the camera to her son Harvey, with a caravan visible in the background – which she humorously suggested would be her new home following reports of her moving into one permanently. Katie was declared bankrupt for the second time after failing to settle over £750,000 in unpaid tax, putting her residence at risk unless HMRC can recoup the funds.

Katie’s video on Monday also revealed stacks of boxes inside the house. She said: “I’m getting ready for my yard sale. Getting ready to move into my caravan. Woo.”

Photos from Saturday exposed enormous heaps of waste in the property’s garden, making the mansion appear dirtier than ever before. Images have depicted the celeb’s house strewn with rubbish and discarded furniture.

The estate’s grounds are also overrun, with Katie’s notorious pink Range Rover visible in the aerial shots along with several other vehicles. The clutter on the property appears to consist of bin bags, old clothes, a computer monitor and even a family photograph.
