Oasis have officially announced their comeback 15 years after their explosive split – and they’re bringing an old pal along for the ride.
After teasing the highly anticipated reunion earlier this week, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have finally buried the hatchet to embark on a nationwide tour. But they’re not the only band members who have returned to the rock group.
The rockers shared a cheeky clip of the Gallagher brothers kissing from previous gigs throughout their career. They captioned the clip: “The guns have fallen silent, the stars have aligned, the great wait is over. Come see.”
Guitarist Bonehead is also spotted in the 90-second video, and now it has been confirmed to The Sun that he will be reuniting with the group for their major 14-date tour.

Bonehead – whose real name is Paul Arthurs – was part of the original 1991 line-up. The 59-year-old is still close pals with the famous brothers and played on Liam’s Definitely Maybe tour this summer after overcoming tonsil cancer in 2023.
An insider told the publication: “Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion.
“Noel has brought in some of his band too. The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”
Some of Noel’s High Flying Birds band will also feature in next summer’s Oasis line-up. The group will travel up and down the country including Manchester and London as well as stopping off in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Tickets for the reunion tour will go on sale on Saturday morning (August 31). The band confirmed none of the gigs will be televised. Insiders told The Sun that extra gigs will be announced once this run sells out.
A total of 1,066,888 tickets will be available across the 14 gigs with demand set to be at least four times that. A source told the publication: “These shows will sell out in less than three minutes. Extra dates will be added for sure.”
It comes after the band’s founder Alan McGee told Virgin Radio on Tuesday (August 27) that the brothers’ mum Peggy, 81, was a major reason for the reunion. He told listeners: “I’m sure she is behind the whole thing.
“Peggy is great, she is rocking on.” Alan added of the brothers: “They’re really professional. I don’t think it [falling out] will be an issue.” Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox? Sign up for our free Daily Star Showbiz newsletter.
