Loose Women is a big hit with pensioners thanks to saucy chat.
The beloved ITV panel show often features frank debates about sex even though it goes out at lunchtimes.
Show regular Gloria Hunniford told the Daily Star: “When I was younger, you did what your parents told you and you stayed quiet. You never would have talked about sex.

“But now we talk about subjects openly that years ago when I was growing up, you wouldn’t have been able to talk about. That’s what we do on Loose Women. We talk about everything.

“A woman of 95 came up to me and said, ‘I love Loose Women because you talk about sex and we were never allowed to when we were younger’.”
Loose Women also covers serious stuff like politics and social issues and it is that mix which has helped make the show a hit for 25 years.
It has now also been nominated for a gong at the Bafta Television Awards for the first time ever.
Gloria said: “We cover heavy stuff and then light subjects we can laugh about. The stuff we talk about is the things people talk about in the pub.”
Gloria’s been a regular on the panel for a decade and has no plans to leave. She said: “I stay on the show because it’s fun.”
