Married At First Sight Australia stars Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson have announced they’re expecting their second child.
The couple found love on the E4 TV show five years ago and already share a son named Oliver, who was born in 2020. Now, they’ve got another little one joining their family later this year.
Cam uploaded a cute video on Instagram on Sunday (February 25) showing Jules and Oliver playing on the beach, with Jules’ growing bump clearly visible. He captioned the sweet clip: “When 3 becomes 4.”

He added: “We both can only imagine our hearts capacity to love will just keep on expanding… So excited to announce we have a new addition to the family joining us in July!”
Their fans were delighted with the announcement (via OK!), with one commenting: “Yes! I’ve been waiting for this news. I love seeing your family and love for each other grow. Congratulations x.” Another person added: “OMG. So happy for you both. I have followed u both from the very start of MAFS congratulations”
And a third wrote: “Been with u guys since l first seen u guys on MAFS my favourite couple big congratulations the biggest congratulations to you beautiful couple and gorgeous Ollie.”
Jules previously talked about their struggle to have another baby last year. She said she hoped it would happen then but they didn’t want to worry too much about it. “We haven’t gone down the route of IVF yet but if needs be, we will,” she declared at the time. “We’ll hopefully get a little girl for Cam. We’ve already decided on a girl’s name we came up with it after we got engaged on MAFS!”
On discussing IVF, she explained: “With Ollie, I fell pregnant within two months, but I was 38. There’s a big difference in your body in those two years. I’ve had a lot on in the past couple of years, so I think I need to slow down emotionally as we’ve been trying for about a year this time. That’s why we’ve said we’ll give it another two months and if not we’ll look into other options. Hopefully we’ll have an announcement soon.”
And reflecting on being a mum, Jules admitted: “Being a mum is absolutely rewarding but the hardest stage for me was accepting that things just don’t get done, and that you’re going to live in a dumpster for a while! It’s also about finding that balance as a working mum. I try to not let that mum guilt come in.”
The new series of MAFS Australia begins on Monday, February 26 at 7:30pm on E4.
