Oasis have finally broken their silence on Glastonbury 2025 rumour ahead of UK reunion tour.
Earlier this week, the 90s rock group confirmed their major comeback tour 15 years after their explosive split. The band will be reuniting for their major 14-date tour across the UK, including four nights at Wembley arena in London and Heaton Park in Manchester.
Following their surprise reunion, rumours quickly circulated suggesting that the brothers would make an appearance at Worthy Farm next year. It was rumoured that the Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers would be one of the headline acts at Glastonbury.

Now, the Wonderwall stars have shut down these rumours. On Wednesday (August 18) the band released a statement, disappointing their loyal legion of fans online.
It read: “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”
Fans flooded to the comment to share their disappointment online. One user penned: “I feel all kinds of happy and sad!!! But one thing I do know…. TONIGGGHTTTTT, I”M A ROCCCKKK AND ROLLL STARRRRRRRR!!!!!”
Another agreed: “Ohh sad” as a third echoed: “good coz I wasn’t gonna go glasto anyways.” Despite the disappointing announcement, many fans shared their excitement after the band revealed they will be doing a “world tour” next year.
One user squealed: “The key takeaway here is “World Tour” as opposed to “UK & Ireland Tour”. It’s happening [thumbs up emoji].” Another user quizzed: “When you say world tour? Means that there will be more shows other than the UK?”
A third chimed in with: “World tour I hear?” as a fourth echoed: “Sneaky way to drop that you’re doing a world tour.” “Ok, you spilled it out!!!!! WORLD TOURRRRR, los esperamos en LATAMMMM!!!”
It comes after The Sun revealed that legendary guitarist Bonehead will be returning to the band for the highly anticipated gig in the new year. The musician – whose real name is Paul Arthurs – was part of the original 1991 line-up.
The 59-year-old is still close pals with the famous brothers and played on Liam’s Definitely Maybe tour this summer after overcoming tonsil cancer in 2023. An insider told the publication: “Bonehead is confirmed.
“They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion. Noel has brought in some of his band too. The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”
