Oasis reunion hit with more ticket chaos as fans left fuming over new ballot

Oasis devotees have been left heartbroken once more due to further ticket pandemonium.

The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, have brought the iconic Britpop band back together for a monumental reunion tour next year. They unveiled a series of gigs across the UK and Ireland – which sold out on the day they were released.

However, countless fans faced difficulties as they scrambled to secure the sought-after tickets. Many were labelled as bots, while others languished in queues for hours and some even saw tickets almost double in price due to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model.

In a bid to appease fans, the band announced two additional shows at Wembley next year. Oasis will now perform on September 27 and 28 next year, with tickets going on sale on Saturday 14 September, reports the Mirror.

They disclosed that those who were logged in and queued on Ticketmaster two weeks ago, could potentially secure a ballot space for the new dates. Fans were already incensed as the band didn’t provide any ballots for those who waited in official queues on See Tickets and Gigs and Tours.

In a move that crushed even more fans, Oasis confirmed all ballots have now been dispatched. This means fans who have not yet received an email with their code, will not be able to attempt to get tickets. Oasis have also cautioned those who did receive tickets, that it does not guarantee they will get them.

Fans who missed out on the lottery expressed their frustration as one despaired: “Spent 6 hours in the queue on Ticketmaster, no email received. The shambles rolls on.”

Another shared: “Well after the last 2 weeks of absolute shambles of trying to get ambulant disabled tickets raised hopes only to be dashed kids are devastated there not gonna see Oasis I was distraught 2 weeks ago was entered into both ballots.”

Another crushed fan remarked: “@oasis another ballot failed…. I’m totally at a loss… I’m sad and extremely disappointed… Hopefully there will be another tour in the future.” Meanwhile, a fourth vented: “It’s all been an overrated debacle. I love oasis and would love to see them but I’m f***ed if I’m going to stress my fking life out for a lottery cats hell chance to obtain a ticket.”

A defiant fan complained: “And how about those fans who tried to get tickets via SeeTickets / Gigs and Tours. Hardly fair!”.
