Saltburn’s Emerald Fennell has begged to be a pin-up in the Daily Star.
The Crown and Call The Midwife actress said it would be a “dream” to feature in Britain’s best newspaper. And the cheeky star added: “I’d like to be remembered as having really great t*ts!”
Talented Emerald, 38, already has an Oscar for Promising Young Woman, and also wrote and directed recent hit flick Saltburn. But she revealed on the latest Where There’s A Will There’s A Wake podcast that being in this paper could top all that.
When host Kathy Burke asked where she would like her obituary to be, Emerald said: “I was thinking about this and I was like, ‘What would be the dream?’ The dream is The Daily Star.
“Front of The Daily Star, a really great headline and then a really sexy pic of me from like 10 years ago. Like a kind of misleadingly hot pic.” And she added: “If they want to superimpose my face onto like a lovely lass’s bod in a Union Jack bikini, all the better.”
Actress and comedian Kathy, who starred in TV show Gimme Gimme Gimme and film Kevin And Perry Go Large said: “Oh fantastic, and The Daily Star will oblige I’m sure.”
In response, Emerald begged: “Oh please Daily Star.” The film-maker’s latest movie, psychological thriller Saltburn, is up for five Baftas at next weeks award’s ceremony including best British film.
