Sharon Osbourne using weight loss drug for ‘quick fix’ – and she’s shrinking too

Sharon Osbourne has revealed how she’s shrinking – and will soon be under 5ft tall.

The 71-year-old TV star said that as well as losing a load of weight since starting weight loss drug Ozempic, she had also lost a couple of inches in recent years. The mum-of-three – who has been married to rock legend Ozzy since 1982 – said she used to be 5ft 2ins-tall.

She said, however, she was now just 5ft tall – and shrinking. Asked about ageing, the former X Factor judge – who also starred in the latest Celebrity Big Brother – said that getting older ‘sucked’.

She said: “Getting older sucks. I’m sure I’ve shrunk. I was 5ft 2in, but now I’m 5ft.” Speaking about the weight loss drug, she said she’d lost more than three stone.

She said: “I didn’t expect Ozempic to work the way it did. I’ve lost 45lb in 18 months. I’m happy with my weight loss. I feel healthier. I’m content. I always want the quick fix.”

Among the other celebs who say they are shrinking include The Who frontman Roger Daltrey, who’s gone from 5ft 5ins-tall to 5ft 3ins. Another is Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley, who said he’s gone from 6ft 4ins-tall to 6ft 2ins.

Roger, 80, said he reckoned he’d lost the height after contracting viral meningitis, adding: “The drugs they gave me for viral meningitis made me shrink. When I went for my medical, I’d shrunk two inches in five years…I’m shrinking. Tony, 63, said previously, he’d lost a couple of inches after his spine was compressed during stock car racing.
