Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin has been booed by fans after one of his co-stars revealed an awkward fact about him.
The Ukrainian ballroom star, 26, is currently on tour with his Strictly professionals and a host of famous faces. The tour is travelling across the country to show off their dancing skills and bring a taste of the hit BBC show to the public, who are able to get involved.
But as the show has progressed, fellow professional Kai Widdrington has revealed some of Nikita’s preferences that have caused him to face derision from the public. The show has just over a week of confirmed dates left before wrapping up for the year ahead of the new series in the autumn.

As the tour rolled into the city of Liverpool, Widdrington made a cheeky revelation to the public about his co-star Nikita. Kuzmin was announced that he was a Manchester United fan, a choice that was ridiculed by the home crowd, who support the likes of Liverpool FC and Everton.
However, Nikita took the jeering on the chin in a typical professional manner and carried on with the show. And it seems the viewing audience were not particularly fussed on his loyalties to the Red Devils, as the audience – who get to decide the winner of the show – eventually voted him to be the victor for that night.
Kai and Nikita are good pals on the show, with Nikita showing his support for Kai’s partnering with legendary broadcaster Angela Rippon. Rippon has also joined the tour, coupled up with her former partner and has been inundated with love and support from fans of the show.
Midway through the tour, Angela admitted that she was having a whale of a time and saw no need for the tour to end any time soon. “I can’t believe we’re halfway through the tour already. I don’t want it to end!” she beamed.
The positivity from the tour comes as host Claudia Winkleman is being eyed by ITV bosses to move over to their Saturday night schedule. Sources at the broadcaster have said the channel is willing to pay good money to have Claudia join the team, with her rumoured to be offered £500k to front her own show.
Winkleman has landed contracts at other broadcasters in the past. She has previously guest hosted Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV before, as well as hosting The Piano on Channel 4.
