The Chase fans have all came forward claiming that ITV chiefs intervened to prevent an incredible team of quizzers from taking home mega money.
Twitter was ablaze on Wednesday(April 10) with furious viewers who had tuned in to watch an brilliant quad of players who had bagged themselves £52,000 between them. It would have been a £13,000 split each had they have been successful.
After a shakey start in the final round, somehow the team managed to pull it back and answered twenty one questions correctly. This ultimately meant that the Chaser, Mark Labbett, would have quite a feat on his hands.

Being on the back-foot, fans have claimed there was foul play involved as they accuse ITV of stepping in to give The Beast a helping hand with scooping up the win in the end. Viewers claimed there were a number of errors that could not be avoided as they demand justice for the team.
One instance in the final match, the team were told that they had chimed in with a “wrong person answer” by host Bradley Walsh but one online user has claimed this was not true. One person fumed: “That wasn’t a wrong person answer I wound it back Charlie’s light was on and he said Charlie? #TheChase.”
Others noted that the team had chimed in with the “correct answer” in the same round. They answered “Franco Detorri” but were told that was incorrect and fans are demanding that it was indeed the right answer.
One angry viewer angrily said: “Absolute f***ing joke that team got it. Fair and square. #TheChase.” As second agreed: “@ITVChaseteam lost by 3 seconds tonight. Wrong answer for saying Franco Dettori instead of Frankie. Real name is Lanfranco though….#onequestion #unfair.”
A third fumed: “Franco dettori should of stood and how the feck did he guess VIMTO !! I smell a rat #thechase,” as a fourth blasted: “Contestants robbed on #thechase – Franco Dettori should have been allowed as his name is Lamfranco Dettori.”
Further suspicion clouded The Beast’s final answer “Vimto” which fans believe had been given to him the final three seconds to stop the team from taking home a massive prize fund.
“Definitely a bit sus there with that much money on the line i think someone was in the beasts ear saying vimto and someone in Brads saying dont accept franko #thechase,” penned a viewer, as another also wrote: “You really don’t just guess vimto! #thechase The Team are always getting f***ed over in this show.”
There had been so much outrage over the situation because The Beast literally nipped the win, with just three seconds remaining on the clock. Had some of their answers stood initially, they would have won.
