Bradley Walsh was had to take a moment for himself on The Chase after getting caught in a side-splitting mix-up.
Walsh, 63, returned to our screens on Monday (June 3) to present another edition of the smash ITV quiz show. The edition was particularly special as celebrities took on the Chasers to raise vital money for SoccerAid.
With the team being made up of actor Michael Sheen, singer Danny Jones, broadcaster Martin Bell and sports presenter Sarah-Jane Mee taking on The Beast Mark Labett, the clash was looking to be particularly tough. First up in the team to take on the Chaser was singer and The Voice Kids coach Danny Jones.

Jones, having competed in SoccerAid previously, was more than happy to give his time to raise money for the charity once again. However, before he was able to build the money he would be trying to put in the prize pot, he first had a quick chat with host Bradley.
In their small talk, Bradley and Danny reminisced on Jones’ stint on SoccerAid in 2020, before attention turned to Danny’s musical career. During this, Bradley asked a number of quick-fire questions on how the band became so popular, including how the band got their name.
Danny went on to explain that the band’s name came because they were avid fans of Back to the Future, whose lead character is called Marty McFly. This surprised Walsh, before he went on to ask a silly question to the star.
Host Bradley then asked Danny what his favourite song the band had released was. This left Jones frustrated as he wracked his brain to settle on an answer, before settling on their hit track, Obviously.
However, this did not particularly fly with Bradley, who seemingly did not know the song. As a result, a puzzled Bradley asked: “Obviously, what?” which led to a chorus of laughter from Danny and the in-studio audience.
After a few seconds of awkward silence, the penny dropped for Bradley, who then realised that “Obviously” was the name of the song. This led to Bradley erupting into laughter and walking out of his spotlight towards Jones, who was in stitches at watching Bradley connect the dots.
To make up for the awkward blunder, Bradley and Danny had a quick hug as he tried to smooth out his hilarious mistake. As the audience continued to laugh and applaud him for carrying on, Bradley tried to collect himself before carrying on with the game.
Danny would eventually get three questions right, picking up a cool £3,000 to take to the Chaser. However, a series of incorrect answers and guesses meant that Danny would be caught and he would lose the money, before being eliminated from the game.
The Chase airs every weekday at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
