The Only Way Is Essex new series set to be ‘most explosive’ in show history

The new series of The Only Way Is Essex will be the most explosive in show history.

Its stars jetted to Cyprus for some fun in the sun, but things turned nasty when a string of shocking revelations were revealed. The footage looks set to leave fans stunned when it airs.

Show regular Junaid Ahmed said: “There was a lot of drama in Cyprus and it hasn’t stopped since we’ve been back. There has been drama with everyone. There have been a lot of revelations. Expect the unexpected. It’s been a rollercoaster.

“The show is always dramatic. But this is the most dramatic series there has ever been.”

Junaid is convinced the showdowns will boost ratings as viewers won’t be able to switch off.

He added: “This series is absolutely mind-blowing. Viewers are going to be on the edge of their seats. Jaws are going to drop to the floor.

“People are going to be biting their nails and dying to find out what happens next.”

Stars back for the new series include show legend Amy Childs, Dan Edgar and Ella Rae Wise.

Junaid reckons it will feel like the show’s heyday when it launched in 2010.

He said: “This series is like the show was back in the day. It’s like the show was in the first three series.”

Making a stir of her own recently, Amber Turner was spotted out during the shooting of the latest series sporting a T-shirt that declared Jaffa Cakes to be cakes.

The 30-year-old had thrown herself into the long-standing debate just days after her pal Georgia Steel was seen sporting a similar slogan tee, but hers claimed the snack to be biscuits.

The series will kick off later this month on ITVBe.
