This Morning star rushed to hospital and ‘writes emergency will’ as they share worrying update

This Morning star Dr Zoe Williams has been admitted to hospital.

The ITV doctor has revealed she has been taken to A&E and plugged into a heart monitor following health concerns over the last 12 months. Zoe, who gives regular medical advice on This Morning, took to social media this week with the worrying update.

She posted a snap from her hospital bed which showed her wearing a hospital gown and attached to a heart monitor. The star said she had written an “emergency will” because of the terrifying health scare concerning her heart.

The NHS doctor wrote: “I got signed off by my Cardiologist today…I’m ok, but I wasn’t certain that I would be for a while! It’s been a year of health blips.

“The most worrying being my heart, but I’m ok. It’s interesting how we can be thankful for these experiences.

“They can make us see clearly. What matters What doesn’t. And just how easy it is to take our health for granted.”

Dr Zoe was inundated with support from her famous friends and fans. Singer and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon wrote: “Sending you love darling [heart emojis]”.

Dr Zoe’s This Morning pal Lisa Snowdon wrote: “Sending you love darling [heart emoji].” A fan commented: “Hope you’re doing okay and sending love.”

A second penned: “That’s great… but what a tough year. Lots to process. Sending lots of love.” Another added: “Make the most of resting and enjoy some TLC when you get home Best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

Dr Zoe has been the resident GP on This Morning since 2016, offering advice to viewers or taking calls from worried members of the public. She also appears on The One Show, and starred on Trust Me I’m a Doctor from 2016 to 2020.
