Alex Warren has denied his record-breaking song features crude lyrics

It’s one of the most played songs of the year but fans are repeatedly singing the wrong lyrics to Ordinary.

Alex Warren has revealed that we’ve been butchering the words to his smash hit – And even his wife thought the song was filth originally.

The singer/songwriter shared: “Everyone thinks that lyric is not what it is, I sing ‘Oh, my life, how do ya?’ As in it will fade into the next thing and to be like ‘you take my breath away, how do you do that’.

“But everyone, including my wife when she first heard the songs, thinks it’s ‘All my life I’ll do ya’, in a sexual way…

“And so my wife one day was like ‘hey by the way my mum listens to this song why did you write it like this?’”

It’s gone on for so long that Alex has given in and now even he sings the raunchier version – Much to his wife’s dismay.

He chuckled: “I thought it was hilarious as everyone thought it was that and it wasn’t so now I just sing it how everyone thinks!”

Fans are also mistaken to think he was an overnight success – The U.S star’s climb to the top was anything but ordinary.

He was struggling to make it for years and was even bullied at school for his love of performing.

Alex told MTV: “I was in fifth grade and I was dating this girl.

“I decided to sing Grenade by Bruno Mars and dedicate it to her and I remember I walked right out, and I go ‘this is for..’ and I said her name. But immediately stage fright hit and I sat there doing a dance, I looked super, super… It was bad, it was really bad.

“And that is what kids made fun of me for all throughout middle school and high school for and I gave up when I turned 18 funny enough.”

He still struggles to believe his own hype: “It doesn’t feel real and I don’t feel like I deserve it in any way.”

Twinnie is proud to represent her community

Rising country star Twinnie says she’s proud to be representing the Romani Traveller community.

The Yorkshire-born singer, now living in Nashville, hopes to be a role model for her peers because she hated growing up not seeing anyone like herself in the spotlight.

Twinnie told me: “Growing up there was nobody in my community that I could aspire to be like.

“And the thing about me is I don’t forget my roots, I was down the campsite the other day, I’ve got cousins that want to be dancers or singers or on stage and now they’ve got somebody to go ‘well she’s done that’, I didn’t have that.”

She added that her background means she’s built for life on the road: “When you think about it, like being a traveler,a gypsy, it’s very nomadic. It very much suits the way that I live anywhere.”

Twinnie has returned with fun new tune Giddy Up which she says is a reminder that you can always dance: “Giddy up, get down, and have a good time!”* KEEP PLZ
