Britain’s Got Talent star Andrew Johnston has been found not guilty of pinning down and raping two women.
The 30-year-old BGT finalist, who appeared on the show’s second season, was accused of pinning one woman down while grabbing her throat, and accused of removing a condom during intercourse with another woman.
It was alleged that the accusations took place while he was studying at the Royal Academy of Music. He has now been found not guilty of two charges of rape and one of sexual assault.
Johnston said that the accusations were “a pack of lies” and described his bedroom activities as “fast, energetic, maybe a bit passionate” but informed the jury he was not aggressive and used a condom.

He also claimed the sex was consensual and that he has “never sung a note” since the claims were made against him.
The former choirboy was 13-years-old when he entered Britain’s Got Talent back in 2008.
He eventually finished in third place and was given a £1 million record deal with Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s record label.

Andrew’s album One Voice was released in September that same year and charted at number four in the UK Albums Chart.
In September 2009 it was announced that he would be taking a year off from singing because his voice had broken, which changed him to a tenor, previously performing as a treble.
