Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have reportedly skipped a number of big Beckham family events since they allegedly began to feud with their loved ones
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have reportedly skipped 12 Beckham family events.
The couple, who married back in April 2022, have reportedly passed over ten get-togethers since their family feud began.
Daily Mail reported: “Brooklyn and Nicola have missed a total of 12 family events in the past year now, the first being David’s 49th birthday dinner in May last year held at the Canton Blue restaurant at the five-star London hotel, The Peninsula.”
Most recently the pair missed David Beckham’s 50th birthday held in West London.
The swanky event hosted a number of famous faces, former colleagues, family and friends, but Brooklyn and Nicola were not among them.
Tensions between the family reportedly began to grow ahead of the couple’s wedding as Victoria allegedly wanted to help plan the event.
However, Nicola’s family organised much of the day, which is rumoured to have cost an eye-watering £3 million.
The Peltz family hosted their big day at their £76 million property in Miami, but Victoria was reportedly hoping they would choose a venue a little closer to home.
Another issue arose surrounding Nicola’s wedding dress. Victoria is a well-known fashion designer but Nicola opted for a stunning white Valentino down and discussed the decision in an interview with Grazia.
The actress explained that she was “planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress” and was “truly so excited to wear a design” created by her mother-in-law, but things did not go to plan.
“We connected to start designing the dress and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.”
