Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz took to social media to share the happy snaps of the ceremony, but eagle-eyed fans soon spotted that neither David nor Victoria were there
Brooklyn Beckham has shared doting snaps of his secret vow renewal with wife Nicola Peltz. However, neither of his parents – David or Victoria – were anywhere to be seen in the pics as their family feud rolls on.
The two lovebirds officially renewed their vows in a secluded ceremony on August 2, presided over by Nicola’s darling dad Nelson. But while it may have been an entire family affair for Nicola, neither Victoria nor David would be in attendances as they continued their luxurious yacht trip thousands of miles away.
Both Brooklyn and Nicola looked loved up as they celebrated their big day on Nelson’s lavish estate in Westchester County. In one heartwarming snap, Nicola could be seen beaming with happiness as she looked over her shoulder to her darling beau Brooklyn, who gave her a loving gaze.
The duo got all dolled up for the occasion, with Nicola wearing a beautiful cream white off-the-shoulder dress, with small floral embellishments and a thin floral veil to complete her outfit. Brooklyn, for his part, kept things minimal, wearing a well-fitted tuxedo, with a loose collar on his shirt as the couple shared the pics of their doting day.
According to the Daily Mail, Nicola had rejected a dress designed by her mother-in-law in favour of a Valentino dress, which apparently did not go down well. Meanwhile, the Beckhams were reportedly unhappy that the Peltzes had “taken over” the event.
It comes as Brooklyn appears to be growing gradually more estranged with his parents and his family, with the 26-year-old appearing to snub his father’s 50th birthday celebrations entirely back in May. The two families have not been on good terms with one another ever since Brooklyn and Nicola first tied the knot in April of 2022.
Since then, Nicola has rarely – if ever – been papped alongside Victoria and David, which has only driven the wedge between the Peltzes and the Beckhams even further. However, Brooklyn did not appear too worried, as he showered his darling wife with affection and love in the snaps, posted on Instagram on Monday (August 11).
Sharing the snaps to their social media accounts, the pair kept it brief, as they wrote in the caption: “Only love.” Nicola was also seen wearing the glamorous ring that she wore when they first got hitched, setting Brooklyn back at least $1.8million for.
Later, Brooklyn said that the vow renewals were a “really beautiful experience” which only went to show how enamoured he is with his partner over three years after they first tied the knot. He doted that the ceremony had always been to create a “really cute memory” that would live on with them forever.
Chatting to People, he reflected on the event, saying: “It was beautiful; we just wanted a really beautiful experience – a really cute memory. To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her.
“I think the most important thing that someone can do is find that person that they’re going to spend the rest of their life with,” he said. “It definitely shapes you as a person – it was really, really cute; it was really fun.”
