A Carry On legend left less than half a million in his will.

Doctor Who star Julian Holloway died in February of this year at the age of 80. Now, it has been revealed that he left behind £493,917 when he died.

After deductions, it has been reduced to £480,891. And while that amount is nothing to be scoffed at, it’s been revealed that his model daughter Sophie Dahl will inherit a tiny fraction.

Sophie and her step-sister Kate Gregory will get £25,000 each, documents have revealed.

However, Julian left the bulk of his fortune to his stepson Joel Gregory.

Joel was also appointed as the administrator of the will.

According to the documents, via The Sun, Julian asked for his ashes to be scattered at Lords Cricket Ground in London or at Sudbrooke Park Golf Club in Surrey.

The actor began his career in 1961, with an episode of The Avengers. His first major role came in the 1962 series Our Man Higgins as Quentin, appearing in four episodes.

His big break came in the Carry On films. He appeared in eight of them between 1967 and 1976, as well as one Christmas special.

Away from his career, Julian married fellow actress Debbie Wheeler in 1971, but they divorced soon after.

Julian’s daughter Sophie came following a short romance with Tessa Dahl in 1976, the daughter of author Roald Dahl and actress Patricia Neal.

He then married voice over artist Debbie Wheeler in 1991, but they got divorced five years later.

Daughter Sophie began modelling at the age of 18. She went on to work with the likes of Versace, Alexander McQueen, Pringle and Gap among others.

She has also featured on the covers of British and Italian Vogue, as well as Elle and Tatler.

Sophie later started writing, and has released a number of books since 2003, including cook books.

She is married to singer Jamie Cullum. They have two children together.
