Harriet Cowan has emerged as Jeremy Clarkson’s latest sidekick on the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm, following Kaleb Cooper’s temporary exit. The 24-year-old is known for being able to juggle plenty of different roles. In her everyday life, she works on the farm and as a nurse.

She graduated from the University of Derby in 2023 with a nursing degree, but her career trajectory has since taken an unexpected turn due to her popularity on the TV show. The sudden fame has also had other impacts on her life. Harriet took to TikTok to express her surprise at the number of followers she’d amassed since the show aired, boasting an impressive 700,000 followers on the platform.

Harriet described her newfound popularity as “insane”, expressing her gratitude to those who chose to follow her journey. She then shared an exciting new project she’s planning to work on in the coming months.

Harriet is considering launching a YouTube channel with her partner James, where she would document her daily life on the farm.

She has also been chatting with her fans about potentially launching a YouTube channel to be a “positive” space for others.

The Clarkson’s Farm star aims to inspire others to consider farming as a career or simply to enjoy her content.

She said: “I just want it to be a positive environment where people can chat, and ask questions, and learn from it – that’s the base of what I want to do. And then hopefully it’ll grow into something where we’ve got a lovely little community.”

Despite not feeling “big enough to start a YouTube” Harriet’s been encouraged by friend to just “do it”.

She added: “If it’s something everyone is interested in, hopefully we’ll start it in the next couple of weeks.”

Expressing her thanks to her social media followers, Harriet admitted “never expected” such a warm reception but is “so, so grateful for it”.

Fans shared their love in the comments section, saying she was a “fantastic addition” to the show and her success is “well deserved”.

One said: “You have a natural likability that truly sets you apart, and if I were you, I’d embrace that fully – it will take you far. I’m genuinely hoping you become the Farm Manager at Clarkson’s, if only to witness Kaleb’s tantrum!”

Someone else added: “Do it! ! I know our family would watch, and I’m sure everyone who’s watched Clarkson’s Farm would definitely be interested!”.
