Danny Jones’ wife makes major public statement after Maura Higgins ‘kiss’

McFly singer Danny Jones’ wife Georgia Horsley has made a public statement after the Maura Higgins ‘kiss’ controversy.

His wife of 11 years and influencer Georgia is reportedly feeling “humiliated” after news spread of his ‘drunken’ kiss’ which was captured on camera at a BRITs after party.

As fans have been going wild over the whispers for the past few days, Georgia herself has decided to keep quiet – until making a significant move now.

She was scheduled to appear in public on Saturday with her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host and dear friend Kelsey Parker at the Baby Show at London’s Excel, but she has now pulled out of the event.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Sitting down for a QandA in front of a live audience is not what Georgia needs right now. She is mortified at how this has all played out and can’t help but feel humiliated.”

Both Danny and Maura have remained quiet on the matter, without any statement released from either party as of yet.

Whereas fans have expressed their shock at the video, criticising Danny for his behaviour as a married man. Danny and Maura first crossed paths on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! last year, which the musician ended up winning.

On Monday, Georgia broke her silence since the controversy during a new episode of her podcast – but stayed away from any mention of Danny.

She delved into motherhood, their recent house move, and even their Aussie adventure to see Danny in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, all without dropping his name.

She confessed: “I was going into this New Year burnt out. Everything I didn’t want to feel entering 2025… I felt. Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!

“So whilst I was still in Australia I decided I needed to do something for me… a solo trip, one to push me out of my comfort zone but also one to give me the break I craved. So… I booked a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Shropshire, and found a little nugget of calm in my overwhelmed brain. I chopped fire wood, built fires, sat in silence, read books, slept, took in the views, watched the sheep in the nearby field… and it was perfect.”
