Emily Atack and Una Healy look ready for bed as they leave BAFTA TV Awards afterparty

After the BAFTA TV Awards, stars such as Danny Dyer, Una Healy and Emily Atack attended the afterparty to celebrate their wins – with many of them getting up to no good

The BAFTA TV Awards saw a constellation of UK’s biggest celebs descend on the Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre in London for an evening filled with glitz, glamour, and gongs.

This year, the spotlight was stolen by Netflix’s smash hit Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates Vs the Post Office, Disney+’s Rivals and Slow Horses.

After a night of revelry, the celebs were spotted exiting the party one by one, hopping into black cabs for a well-deserved rest, reports the Mirror.

Una Healy was seen clambering into a cab, looking slightly worse for wear but still managing a stunning smile for the paparazzi before heading home.

Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack stunned in a sleek, form-fitting gown as she calmly waited alone in her taxi. Feeling somewhat weary after a long evening, Emily hung her head, concealing her face beneath her hand.

Meanwhile, EastEnders legend Danny Dyer was caught grabbing a quick smoke outside the venue as he took a breather from the mayhem inside. Clutching his award, the star enjoyed a puff on his cigarette.

Danny was bestowed with the BAFTA for Best Male Performance in a Comedy, and his joy was palpable earlier in the evening.

Former EastEnder Danny Dyer scooped the National Comedy Award for his work in the Sky Comedy series Mr Bigstuff. Accepting the award, Dyer jokingly claimed: “The acting was so bad it was funny”.

He added: “Girls – Sunni, Dani, I done it,” before dropping the ‘F-bomb’, affirming, “I f****** done it.”

The 47-year-old’s vocabulary prompted a public apology from ceremony host Alan Cumming.

Meanwhile, love was in the air for Bridgerton actor Luke Newton and girlfriend Antonia Roumelioti as they smooched outside the venue. Newton had his arms around her hips, while she wrapped hers around his neck, before they parted ways with a fleeting kiss.

Pals Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark, both dressed in stylish all-black outfits, hopped into a cab after winning in the Factual Entertainment category for Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.

Rob stared straight at the camera lens as he made himself comfortable, while TV presenter Rylan seemed just as eager to hit the road, with a friend on his lap.

Similarly feeling worn, The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman decided to call time on her high heels, instead walking barefoot out the venue with the shoes in hand. She was all smiles and laughter for the cameras, not a worry in sight.

Earlier in the night, Maura Higgins made a much-awaited comeback to the red carpet, her first appearance since her infamous kiss scandal with McFly’s Danny Jones. The married musician caused quite a stir when he was caught on camera smooching Maura at the BRIT Awards earlier this year.
