Glastonbury fans ‘work out’ mystery Patchwork act as 2025 line-up confirmed

The Glastonbury 2025 line-up was released earlier this week, but there are still a couple of acts that have the festival’s attendees speculating who they could be

Festival fans reckon they’ve cracked the code on who’ll be gracing the Glastonbury main stage at this year’s mash-up at Worthy Farm. The entire line-up for this summer’s bash has been confirmed, and while crowds are excited for the headliners like The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo set to rock the Pyramid Stage, it’s the enigmatic act “Patchwork” – billed from 6pm to 7pm on Saturday – that has everyone buzzing.

“Patchwork” has thrown Glastonbury followers into a complete spin, with many thinking they’ve sussed out who the hush-hush performance could be. Alongside this puzzler, there’s another TBA set teasing Friday attendees on the Pyramid Stage.

It’s no strange thing for secret sets and unnamed acts to pop up, but festival-goers are absolutely over the moon pondering who could appear in these surprise sessions. Over on Reddit, the Glastonbury thread is hot with gossip that rock gods, hitmakers, and past icons might be behind the cryptic “Patchwork”.

The truth about “Patchwork” will remain a mystery until D-day, with Glastonbury Festival zip-lipped about the star until they strut onto the stage.

On Reddit, one eager user threw out: “The lineup is finally here and out on the website!! Who do we think the Friday TBA is going to be?” reports Somerset Live.

One fan speculated: “There’s two surprises on the Pyramid Stage, one Friday one Saturday. Talk of Mumford and Sons on the Friday and I’m praying for Pulp on the Saturday.” Another keen Glasto-goer pitched in: “Haim probably.”

A third festival lover chimed in with a wild guess: “A massively long shot, but could it be Oasis to officially kick-start their comeback? Only a 35 minute set, which would probably be like 4 songs with a lot of talking. Which feels appropriate.”

They continued: “Plus they then kick their actual tour off in Cardiff just 1 week later. Which is close to the festival and always struck me as an odd choice for the first ‘back on stage’ moment.”

Adding more fuel to the fire, they mentioned: “Plus, Noel was at the festival last year behind the scenes; which can sometimes be an indicator of doing something the following year.”

Despite the whirlwind of rumours, there hasn’t been any official word on who will fill the TBA and “Patchwork” gigs, though some bands have already nixed the idea of a surprise set this year.

Oasis poured cold water on the gossip by confirming no surprise shows beyond their advertised “Live ’25” tour dates, thus dashing hopes for a Glastonbury stint.

Pulp followed suit, with their leading man Jarvis Cocker stating they’d only consider playing Glasto in a do-or-die scenario, commenting: “If it was a life-or-death situation, but I really don’t think it’s going to happen.”

Yet, hope springs eternal in the hearts of the Glastonbury faithful, tossing around potential appearances from the likes of Sam Fender, Harry Styles, and Lewis Capaldi.
