THIS weekend Gabrielle Aplin rocks BST Hyde Park and the world’s coolest farm – Glastonbury Festival but her heart remains at home on her own farm.

The Power Of Love hitmaker has stepped back from the spotlight lately to live out her farmyard dreams, and now she struggles to tear herself away from her sheep, chickens, ducks and dogs.

Gabrielle told the Daily Star: “I am really nervous to get out there and be back on the stage, I find it quite nerve wrecking and I find it hard to be away from my animals, especially my dogs, I find it sad to leave them.”

Elaborating on her mini-farm, Gabrielle shared: “I did a head count the other day, and I have got 24 all together.

“Three sheep, some chickens, ducks, quail and three dogs. The sheep came from my friend who is a farmer and every year when it’s lambing he might have a few orphans – so he has to bottle feed them in his house and I was like, ‘I’ll do it!

“They were supposed to be here for a few weeks but they were here for ten!”

Gab ended up vsiting the sheep afterwards and then Uh oh: “I was like ‘I’ll just walk down to the farm and see if she remembers me’ and she came running over and I was like, ‘oh no I can’t let her go and be a shepherds pie’ and so I bought her, and then I had to get her friend, and then there was one more that came running over and I couldn’t leave her.”

Gab hopes to expand her farm with “a turkey and donkey” next. Start worrying when the elephant arraives.

This weekend her plan is to play Glasto’s Acoustic stage on Friday, leave to support Zach Bryan at BST on Saturday and hop-foot it straight back to Worthy Farm afterwards.

Rather than partying with Charli XCX Gabs will be escaping to the kids fields: “The campsites around there are so chilled and actually if I find it all a bit overwhelming I go and hangout there, it’s just so chilled.”

Gabrielle will perform at a sold-out BST Hyde Park show on June 28 supporting headliner Zach Bryan. Visit bst-hydepark.com for more info. *
