Jacqueline Jossa has spoken out for the first time since it was announced that she had split from husband Dan Osborne – and she had some words for her ‘pals’
EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has hit back following the commentary around her split from Dan Osborne, sending a message to her followers just a week after their publicised joint announcement.
Last Saturday brought the news that the soapstar and her TOWIE husband had ended their eight-year marriage. The duo had previously faced a flurry of rumours concerning their union, with speculation of a separation.
Jacqueline, who was spotted recently without her wedding ring, spoke up for the first time on Instagram. She said: “What happened to ‘in a world where you can be anything be kind’ ay? Daniel and I are talking constantly, there is no big feud, stop looking for one.” She also tackled rumours about Dan secretly purchasing a property ahead of their official split, adding, “He bought a house for investment purposes.
“You always have to try and make someone the victim and someone the villain, which just isn’t the case. We are a team and working to look after our beautiful children. The sources the ‘pals’ the everything else in between. Is TOOO MUCH for anyone to take. Leave us alone.”
She concluded with a strong warning for those pretending to support her, “People who make out they are fans of me… please understand that trolling and bashing another human being isn’t okay and never will be. You’ll be blocked and deleted,” reports the Mirror.
The actress, who plays Lauren Branning, has spoken out following speculation about her split from ex-TOWIE star Dan. The pair announced their separation with a joint statement last week, but rumours of ‘crisis talks’ and concerns from Jacqueline’s friends about a possible reunion have been rife.
In confirmation of their separation, they released a statement saying: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye.
“They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents – something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”
A confidant of the couple revealed: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.”
They also mentioned that the future is uncertain for Jac and Dan, but the separation was “needed.”
Dan is rumoured to have packed his bags and left the family home, leaving Jacqueline and their two little girls, Ella, 9, and Mia, 6, behind. A source revealed to The Sun, saying the couple are keeping things “amicable” while they navigate through their issues.
They were quick to squash any speculation of outside drama influencing their split, stating: “Jac and Dan have been rocked by their fair share of scandals but this situation could not be further from that,” the insider said.
Earlier this year, the family’s home put up an ‘for sale’ sign, amidst rumours that Dan had bought a new bachelor pad close by. Last year, Jacqueline let fans peek behind the curtain of her marriage life, as she denied cheating rumours and talk of another breakup.
In a post last year, Jacqueline opened up about her relationship with Dan. She posted a series of smitten snaps with him, writing: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more!”
