The ex-girlfriend of James Argent has been pictured for the first time since news of his arrest emerged.
The former TOWIE star was arrested earlier this month and admitted to a charge of domestic violence against his Swedish beauty queen girlfriend Nicoline Artursson.
Arg, 37, received a six-month suspended prison sentence, though he could end up behind bars if he breaks a restraining order stopping him from contacting or approaching Nicoline within the next two years.
Former Miss Sweden Nicoline was pictured in Marbella, Spain, covering her eyes with thick black sunglasses. She could be seen walking along while looking at her phone, and carrying a bag of shopping.
Nicoline, 32, wore cropped black leggings and a white t-shirt, with it hitched up at her waist and knotted.
According to The Sun, neighbours were called after hearing screams. A source close to reality star Arg said that he is “remorseful about what happened but is insisting he never meant any harm”.
It’s reported that Nicoline suffered some injuries and needed hospital treatment.
The former couple confirmed their relationship in September. Just two months later, they told OK! magazine in their first joint interview that they were looking forward to starting a family together.
They revealed that it was love at first sight after bumping into each other outside a supermarket in Spain, though Arg thought she was out of his league.
Nicoline then joined him in his Essex home.
Speaking of family plans, Arg said: “We’re both at the right stage in our lives. We’ve both lived a life, we’ve both had experiences with previous partners, but now it’s a really good time to be sure of who you are with.”
Arg’s relationship with Nicoline was the first public romance since he dated his then 19-year-old girlfriend Stella Turian, who was a law student.
