Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has spoken out about her relationship with Love Islander Chris Hughes following their time as housemates on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year
Singer JoJo Siwa has dropped hints about her bond with Chris Hughes after their stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 21 year old star, who split from her partner Kath Ebbs at the show’s wrap party, has been quizzed about her relationship with Chris, 32.
On This Morning, she described it as “platonic”, while Chris chimed in, calling it a “soulmate friendship”.
Over the weekend, JoJo gushed about Chris at an event hosted by Stanford University’s Speakers Bureau, saying he’s become a “vital part” of her life. After sharing her experience on TikTok, fans flooded the comments with mentions of Chris.
JoJo responded, teasing that she hopes they’ll collaborate on a spin-off TV show in the future.
The pair grew close during their three-week stay in the Big Brother house, before both getting the boot in the final just over a week ago. Now, it seems JoJo is leaving the door open for a potential on-screen reunion with Chris.
JoJo recently shared a video of herself grooving to Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten, expressing her excitement after delivering a speech at Stanford University. She captioned the post: “Wowwwww thank you for having me Stanford! I don’t know whose idea it was, but sure did make my night (and life) extra special! ! … we had a great chat and talked about just about everything… I’m sure there’s gonna be loads of videos posted from there. Let me know if you see them! ! :)”.
Intriguingly, JoJo also hinted at a potential TV spin-off. When a fan commented: “JOJO AND CHRIS SPIN OFF” she replied with a praying hands emoji, suggesting that such a project might be on the cards.
Speaking about her relationship with the ex-Love Island star, JoJo gushed: “We have the absolute most fun together. He is an absolute gem that has come into my life.”
She continued: “Genuinely, one thing that I love so much about him, is he has zero ego. He’s a really incredible sweet man.”
JoJo added: “I told him this on the last night, maybe it wasn’t the last night but [sometime]. I said ‘you’re a vital part of my life and I didn’t realise I was missing, but I’m happy that I don’t have to anymore’.”
Addressing the crowd about Chris, she confided: “He’s an awesome guy and I think he’ll be around for a very long time […] He’s a keeper. We’ll keep him around. We’ll see.”
