Traumatised Kim Kardashian feared she “would die” and be raped by masked robbers who held her at gunpoint in Paris before snatching £7.5million in cash and jewels.

The reality star and mum-of-four relived the October 2016 nightmare in court yesterday (May 13). She almost cried recalling being dragged onto a hotel apartment bed while naked apart from a bathrobe, believing she would be forced to have sex the thugs.

Kim, whose hands were tied and mouth taped during the horror ordeal, said: “I’m certain that’s the moment he rapes me. I say a prayer to mentally prepare myself.

“At that point I was sure that’s when they were going to shoot me. So I said a prayer for my family and my mom and my sister and best friend.”

Judge David De Pas asked her: “That night you thought you would die?” She held back tears as she replied: “I absolutely did think I was going to die.

“It was terrifying and life changing and I don’t wish that kind of terror on anyone – to think you could be killed or raped. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.”

Hundreds of cops were poised outside the Palais de Justice as Kim arrived to face the nine men and one woman accused of the daring heist. Kim, who told the court she wants to become a lawyer, saw some of her alleged attackers for the first time as her mum Kris Jenner comforted her tearful daughter.

The group have been dubbed the “grandpa robbers” because many are in their late 60s and 70s but prosecutors insist they are a violent bunch.

Two have confessed to the crime including Aomar Ait Khedache who admits being involved but denies he was the ringleader. He sent Kim a grovelling note and in emotional scenes, the US socialite looked directly at him in court and said: “I forgive you”.

Kim’s childhood pal and former stylist, Simone Harouche, who was sharing their two-floor hotel suite during Fashion Week, also gave evidence saying she was asleep downstairs when the robbery began before she locked herself in the bathroom. She said she heard a terrified Kim yelling: “’I have babies and I need to live’. That is what she kept on saying, ‘Take everything. I need to live.”’

Later, she heard the Skims business owner hopping down the stairs with her ankles still bound. She said: “She was beside herself. She just was screaming.” Judge De Pas asked whether the TV star had made herself a target by posting photos of herself with “jewels of great value.”

But her friend replied: “Just because a woman wears jewellery, that doesn’t make her a target. “That’s like saying that because a woman wears a short skirt that she deserves to be raped.”

Kim says the horrific night has “changed my life completely”. She has since beefed up security, had extensive therapy and never sleeps with jewellery in the house, or goes out alone. Kim spent a gruelling five hours standing in the dock in stilettos.

The trial continues.
