Kim Kardashian had an awkward moment as she made her way to the 2025 Met Gala, with one of her security guards accidentally stepping on her dress causing her to stumble
The Met Gala got off to a rocky start for Kim Kardashian.
The reality television starlet was one of the later celebrities to arrive on the blue carpet. And while she looked stunning in a structured leather look, it wasn’t all smooth sailing, especially after reports emerged she was anxious about a potential run-in with ex Kanye West if he gatecrashed the event.
She was filmed leaving her hotel as she made her way to the event in her Chrome Hearts ensemble. But at one point, a security guard accidentally stood on her dress, causing her to trip.
In the TikTok video, Kim can be seen quickly turning around and raising a stern hand to the man. It’s not clear what she says to him, but she didn’t look happy.
Kim’s look appeared to take inspiration from the suits worn by black men in the early 1900s. It was to fit the Met Gala’s 2025 theme, which was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
The annual event saw A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams co-chair alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
Kim’s outfit consisted of an open-back corset top and a matching skirt with a long train. She wore an oversized fedora and a statement diamond-encrusted choker.
She wasn’t the only one of her famous sisters in attendance. Both Jenner girls wowed on the blue carpet.
Kendall Jenner, who has also attended a number of times in the past, wore a custom look from British designer Torisheju.
It featured a classic skirt suit, elevated by a fitted blazer jacket with statement shoulders and a cinched waist.
She added a dazzling diamond necklace and wore her dark brunette hair pushed back away from her face.
Meanwhile, youngest sister Kylie Jenner brought the sex appeal with a sheer corset dress and matching gloves.
On the blue carpet, she had an elegant silk wrap around her arms and shoulders, which also acted as a train for her outfit.
Her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet was not in attendance, meaning the couple are still. yet to make their red carpet debut.
During award season, Kylie was often seen with actor Timothee, but did not walk the red carpet with him.
