Love Island stars figure out real reason bombshells didn’t work this All Stars

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island legends Will and Jessie have shared their thoughts on the All Stars series and revealed the real reason why they think bombshells have flopped this year

Love Island All Stars has kept viewers at home entertained during these chilly months – but the most fiery element of the show has failed to have impact this year.

The show is known for bombshells coming in and disturbing the peace in the villa and shaking things up completely, however, this year they have had barely any impact on the couples and fans have seen different types of disturbance.

This time around the villa has seen stars such as Samie Elishi, Ron Hall, Chuggs Wallace and Danielle Sellers all come through the door – but in comparison to other years, they did not ruffle as many feathers.

When chatting exclusively to Daily Star, former stars Jessie Wynter and Will Young shared their opinion on the show and shared their advice for contestants when they leave the villa.

Jessie shared: “I think we’ve definitely seen that, I feel like the couples have been fairly strong from early on, and that’s why bombshells coming in have it’s probably been quite difficult for them, because everyone is so set in their couple and probably not wanting to experiment, and everyone knows everyone on the outside sort of thing.

“So even if bombshells come in, maybe they’ve already met them or seen them before, so you don’t really need to explore as much sort of thing. But yeah, there is a lot of drama going on, a lot of arguments, a lot of heated arguments as well.”

Will added: “Yeah, it’s like a lot different to other years. I guess because usually the bombshells actually are the drama. However, in this villa, there’s just drama among everyone else.

“I am very glad I’m not in there, a few of the challenges and games that they’ve played and the drama that’s been caused, I just think it doesn’t look nice to be involved in.”

As the couples prepare to leave the show, we asked what advice they have for the Islanders to boost their career. They revealed Snapchat their preferred social media platform of choice – as its the “happiest”.

Jessie explained: “I think the thing that everyone loves about Snapchat, as it’s not edited. It’s literally in live time, you just rip out the camera, post it as it is, no editing. I think there’s a lot more freedom to kind of chat one on one to people.

“It’s really good for Islanders and creators to actually communicate with other people that have just come off the show like themselves, and it really brings in that sense of community.”

Will jumped in: “If they’re not on Snapchat, the biggest advice for Islanders coming out is to get on Snapchat. It is the number one happiest platform, I’ve definitely experienced that, Jessie has too. I think it’s just because Snapchat is the only platform where being imperfect is perfect.

“They just love you being yourself and seeing who you actually are. I’ve definitely found with the followers and the people that I’m connecting with to have a much bigger and better connection.”
