Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, penned a personal note to a podcaster who admitted she was “scared” for the royal’s well-being.

Not Skinny But Not Fat host Amanda Hirsch had voiced her worries about the potential backlash Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series With Love, Meghan might face – and she was not wrong to be concerned, with even Lorraine Kelly giving a scathing review. Amanda was left utterly gobsmacked when she received a handwritten letter from the duchess herself, which playfully addressed her concerns.

Amanda took to Instagram to share a snap of her original comments on the With Love, Meghan trailer where she confessed her fears for Meghan.

Overlaying the screenshot on her Insta Story, she wrote: “Remember I said I was scared for Meghan and the possible hate she would get because for some reason people wanna hate on her about everything?”

Next up, she flaunted the duchess’s letter, which stated: “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it.”

The 43-year-old has bagged herself a “fan for life” according to Amanda, thanks to the touching gesture.

Beside the snap of Meghan’s note, she gushed: “Like, obviously framing this. Beyond shook. Beyond spiralling.

“Did I smell the paper? Yes! Do I want my own monogram? Yes.

“Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed. F***. YES. @meghan you have a fan for life.”

In other news, Netflix boss Ted Sarandos has come to Meghan’s defence after With Love, Meghan didn’t quite charm the critics.

The co-chief executive has come out swinging in defence of the duchess, claiming she’s been “underestimated” and that both she and her husband Prince Harry – proud parents to Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three – have been unfairly “overly dismissed”.

Chatting with Variety, he said: “I think Meghan is underestimated in terms of her influence on culture.”

He pointed out the frenzy caused by their content, noting: “When we dropped the trailer for the Harry + Meghan doc series [in 2022], everything on screen was dissected in the press for days.”

He highlighted the impact of Meghan’s fashion choices, revealing: “The shoes she was wearing sold out all over the world. The Hermès blanket that was on the chair behind her sold out everywhere in the world.”

He concluded with a strong statement about the couple’s public perception: “People are fascinated with Meghan Markle. She and Harry are overly dismissed.”
