Nicole Scherzinger looked gorgeous at this year’s Met Gala, but she shared a behind-the-scenes video of her way there which appeared anything but cool, calm and collected
Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger dazzled on the Met Gala 2025 blue carpet.
The broadway star attended the annual event, with the theme of Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, in a glittering gown and cape, which emulated an oversized blazer. The 46-year-old attended with designer Prabal Gurung and a number of other famous faces who acted as the brand’s muses.
Nicole, who is in a relationship with rugby player Thom Evans, posed with one hand on her hip as she showed off her eye-catching outfit. While Thom was not present, Nicole did risk a run-in with her ex Lewis Hamilton, who was one of the co-chairs of the event.
The black and white ensemble featured a plunging neckline. She decorated her chest with a glistening diamond necklace which ran down underneath her dress.
Fans online couldn’t get enough of the look, with one writing on X, formerly Twitter: “Body on point.”
Another said: “Nicole didn’t just walk the carpet – she owned it. Eternal goddess energy.” As a third said: “This is very beautiful.”
Ahead of the big event, Nicole shared a video from the car ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
In it, she filmed pop star Shakira, who was wearing a flamboyant pink gown with sheer panels down her hips, being sewed into her dress.
Nicole narrated the clip saying: “This is the behind-the-scenes, what people don’t see.
“Poor Shakira. She said, ‘Ow!’ because of the needle.”
She also filmed Tessa Tompson, who could be seen stood up in her outfit. “Poor sweet Tessa, she cannot sit down,” Nicola explained.
“And she’s got the highest shoes on in the world. She’s just doing a balancing act this whole time.”
The theme for this year’s Met Gala – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style – brought menswear to the forefront for the first time in longer than 20 years.
It was co-chaired by A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Nicole’s ex Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and, of course, Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
