Rob Reiner’s son Nick has been arrested and charged with murder after the Hollywood director and his wife, Michele Singe,r were found dead in their LA home with stab wounds, police confirmed
Rob Reiner reportedly had a row with his son at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas house party just hours before he was found stabbed to death alongside his wife.
Reiner had booked a massage on the day he and his wife died, but did not answer the door. This prompted the couple’s daughter Romy, who lived across the road, to enter her parents’ home, where she made the horrifying discovery that they had been stabbed to death, the Daily Mail reports.
Reiner, his wife Michele, and their son Nick – who is now in custody for felony murder – had attended celebrity host Conan O’Brien’s party in Los Angeles on Saturday evening. The group had gotten into a “very loud argument” which other guests could hear, according to TMZ.
Reiner and Michele left the party shortly afterwards, but it is not known if Nick left with his parents.
On Sunday, the couple allegedly had their throats slit after a heated argument with a relative. Romy, Reiner’s youngest child, told police that a family member “should be a suspect” because they are “dangerous”.
Authorities arrested Nick on Sunday afternoon and booked him for felony murder on Monday morning. They are now questioning Nick, who is being held on a $4million bail.

Without any substantiating evidence, Trump claimed in a social media post that Rob Reiner’s death was a result of his opposition to Trump and his policies.
In Trump’s own words: “the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”
According to an official who wished to remain anonymous due to the ongoing investigation, it is believed that the couple suffered fatal stab wounds.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported responding to a medical aid request shortly after 3:30pm, where they found a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman dead inside the property. Reiner had celebrated his 78th birthday in March.
Detectives from the Robbery Homicide Division were probing an “apparent homicide” at Reiner’s residence, according to Capt. Mike Bland of the Los Angeles Police Department.
