Jade Thirlwall turned heads at the 2025 BRIT Awards when she arrived with a mysterious man.

Some of the biggest names in music and TV descended on London’s O2 Arena for this year’s BRITs on Saturday (March 1). The red carpet was a glam affair as the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts posed for the cameras.

It was Jade’s first time as a solo act at the ceremony following Little Mix’s hiatus. Known now as JADE, she confirmed at the event that she and the girls would “definitely” get back together after their solo pursuits.

But it was her incredible red carpet look – and date for the evening – that had caught attention. She wowed in a striking electric white wedding dress, holding a bouquet of flowers, and behind her was a towering man in a fat suit dressed in white from head to toe – with giant hands to top it off.

Some may not know who this mysterious and hulking figure – dubbed Jade’s “music manager husband” – is. Those who aren’t aware of Jade’s debut record last year may not be aware that it was actually a reference to her music.

The former X Factor star released her solo debut Angel of My Dreams last year. The music video, directed by Aube Perrie, shows Jade’s journey to stardom and includes a clip of her audition for The X Factor.

The music video for the track, which swipes at the music industry and the executives who run it, features a huge man who represents a controlling music manager – believed to be a dig at Simon Cowell. He’s played by Srbo Markovic, and at the BRITs he was clearly Jade’s ‘husband’, given Jade was wearing a wedding dress.

Jade has actually been dating fellow musician Jordan Stephen from Rizzle Kicks since 2020, but in her music video for Angel of My Dreams, it’s the giant man who plays her manager and boyfriend. Jade was all smiles on the carpet as she posed for pictures with her ‘manager’.

The song has lyrics about selling her “soul to a psycho”, which some fans believe is a nod to Simon’s former record label, SyCo. In the video, she marries the large man and sings: “Got you a car, got you a house / Got you a suit, it’s Gucci / If I don’t win, I’m in the bin.”

According to Srbo’s IMDB page, he’s worked on several TV shows and films, specialising in stunts, with credits including The Informer, Ghosted, and EastEnders. However, it seems he made his music video debut with Jade.

Srbo, who stands at an impressive 6’10” (207cm), shares his fitness routines and gym sessions on Instagram. He posts under the name srbinator and occasionally shares photos of his wife and son.

Jade was nominated for two BRIT Awards last night Pop Act and Song of the Year for “Angel of My Dreams,” which she released in July last year, featuring a sample of Sandie Shaw’s Puppet on a String. She won the Best Pop Act award, beating stiff competition from Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Lola Young, and Myles Smith to claim the coveted prize.

In her emotional speech, Jade thanked her “Little Mix sisters” as she collected her gong. She said: “So firstly, my God, I’m flustered. I need to thank the fans, because that’s why I’ve won this award. Thank you so much for supporting me and relentlessly forcing everyone around you to support me. I really appreciate it.”

“I want to thank my fabulous team around me, because it really does take a determined village to make a good pop act. So I’ll be quick, but here we go. I want to thank my management, Amy, Kevin and Alana, my label, Jason, Eileen and Stacey, RCA, Joel, my incredible Ana and everybody at RCA. I’m so grateful all of the writers and producers I’ve had the pleasure to work with my promo, my digital and creative team, glam and styling. I mean, yeah, go off.”

She then thanked her nearest and dearest, saying: “My partner, Jordan, my mom, dad, my brother, Carl, and all my family and friends always believed in me. Thank you for making me feel like it was a realistic goal to be a pop star ever since I was a little girl.”
