David and Victoria Beckham have continued to share upbeat content on social media all this week, despite their ongoing feud with their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham
David and Victoria Beckham have maintained a united front on social media, sharing upbeat posts on Instagram, despite the growing tension with their eldest son Brooklyn.
On Tuesday, Brooklyn, 26, shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to his billionaire father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, writing: “Happy birthday Nelson x We love you,” alongside a photo of himself, Nicola, and the influential businessman.
The affectionate post starkly contrasts with his ongoing silence towards his parents – having ignored both their birthdays and skipped David’s highly publicised 50th celebration, as well as remaining quiet on Father’s Day and the news of his Knighthood.
Meanwhile, the Beckhams have kept their focus on work. This week, Victoria, 51, shared clips from her facial treatments, showing herself lying on a spa bed mid-procedure.
One video detailed: “Inside Victoria’s skincare routine – From professional treatments with the incredible Keren Bartov to the everyday rituals she swears by, it’s all part of a considered approach.”, reports the Mirror.
She explained, “Mini lift – ultrasound with radio frequency to build collagen and lift the skin.”
Victoria also showcased her full product lineup from her beauty brand, outlining her daily routine for achieving clear, radiant skin.
The former Spice Girl uploaded videos from her spa treatments, where she is seen having various procedures to maintain her age-defying complexion. David, 50, remained in promotional mode, sharing a jovial advert for Ninja where he whipped up watermelon margaritas using one of their juicers.
Meanwhile, their middle son Romeo, 22, donned a red Balenciaga top and shared a series of selfies and mirror snaps on Instagram.
However, beneath the cheerful updates, there’s reportedly a growing rift. It’s been suggested that David and Victoria are worried about Nicola’s influence over Brooklyn, particularly as his connections to the Beckham family seem to be fraying.
The strain was first noticed when Brooklyn didn’t post any birthday message for Victoria in May – a stark contrast from previous years when his social media tributes were a regular feature. Neither he nor Nicola publicly acknowledged her 51st birthday, even as David, Romeo, and Cruz posted heartfelt messages.
Brooklyn also missed all of David’s 50th birthday celebrations, including a private family party in the Cotswolds, a luxury trip to France, a celebratory dinner at Core in Notting Hill, and a fishing trip with the Beckham men. Despite being in London at the time, he was noticeably absent from all events.
Adding to the tension, Brooklyn and Nicola visited the capital last month for a fashion shoot with Moncler, located less than two miles from the Beckhams’ Holland Park home – yet they reportedly didn’t inform David or Victoria of their visit, nor did they attempt to meet.
