Stars of The White Lotus turned up to the Met Gala in dazzling looks, with Aimee Lou Wood walking the blue carpet with co-star Patrick Schwarzenegger and Walton Goggins and Lisa also there
Fans of The White Lotus were excited to see the cast reunite at the 2025 Met Gala.
The annual event brings together the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, so there’s no surprise the White Lotus stars were there after the headline-grabbing third season, which included controversial romp scenes and devastating deaths.
But fans have been hooked on the rumoured real-life drama too, after reports emerged of some sort of falling out between on-screen lovers Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins, who played Chelsea and Rick.
Their chemistry on the show was undeniable, and it seemed they got along well during filming, with the duo gushing over each other on social media. However it appeared things changed towards the end of the third season airing.
Fans noticed that they were no longer following each other on Instagram, and it appeared Walton could have even blocked her, as her comments on his posts vanished.
Walton, who is also known for Sons of Anarchy, also praised Saturday Night Live’s sketch which parodied The White Lotus, but left Aimee upset as it mocked her teeth.
In an interview with the London Times last week, he also refused to talk about the rumours of their failing friendship, with the chat being cut short.
But things may be on the mend, as they are once again following each other on Instagram.
Walton was among the first of the White Lotus stars to turn up at the Met Gala, having a lot of fun on the blue carpet as he spun around and showed off his extravagant skirted look.
Blackpink superstar and Mook actress Lisa was also there wearing Louis Vuitton. She wore sheer tights and a lace blazer and bodysuit.
Soon, Aimee Lou Wood arrived at the event with her White Lotus co-star Patrick Schwarzenegger, who played Saxon on the show.
They walked the blue carpet together, happily posing for photos.
Fans couldn’t help but comment on the fact that the co-stars were all back together – and whether there would be any more developments in Walton and Aimee’s on-off friendship.
One said: “Me pretending to be a chandelier inside the Met Gala so I can see if Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins interact after all those rumours.”
Another said: “Aimee and Patrick together but not Walton oh it’s awkward.”
The theme for this year’s Met Gala – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style – brought menswear to the forefront for the first time in longer than 20 years.
It was co-chaired by A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and, of course, Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
